Introducing a new, free iOS app called MyStory – Daily Inspirations. We invite you to install and enjoy timeless truth set in a calm and peaceful setting featuring beautiful, yet undistracting looping background ambient videos on your iPhone or iPad.
Set aside a regular time of daily devotion that allows you to read about, reflect on the truth and apply insights received from God’s Word with the help of insights shared by mature believers to your daily life and to also be able to track and record your thoughts and progress towards your goals of growth and sanctification.
You can read from multiple devotionals at a time, depending on which one is selected.
Install new devotionals from the ‘Plans’ tab – by tapping the ‘Get’ option.
Once the new devotional is installed, tap it and it’s selected.
Read & meditate on the newly installed devotional from the ‘Read’ tab
To view the entire devotional content, swipe upwards or tap the up circled arrow.
Tap on the text to display tools: sharing, journaling, liking, reminders and reviewing progress
Complete the days reading? tap the check button. Now you’re ready for the next days reading.
Tracking your progress – tap the text to display tools, and select metrics.
The Metrics view displays circle graphs of all your progress including reading, journaling, favorites, and sharing.
There is so much more the app offers, from viewing, editing or deleting your journal entries (Journal tab), viewing, unliking favorites (Favorites tab) to settings for font, dark mode and more from the More tab.
